Rocket Spanish
claims it can teach anyone to speak Spanish confidently and
naturally in less that 8 weeks.
A question I get
asked a lot is... is it a scam?
I can attest that
Rocket Spanish is pretty much on the level. It's a very
high-quality home-study Spanish course.
I chose
to study Spanish from a home course because I was not
happy with the slow pace of Spanish classes I have attended in
the past, and the time and effort you need to attend classes
regularly.
There are several
home-study Spanish courses, and Rocket Spanish is by far
the best I've come across. I am now progressing very fast
in my Spanish with this course, and I am entirely
satisfied with it.
The course comes in 8 sections, with several
lessons within each section. It has a very clear introduction
to each part, and leads you through audios with clear examples
of each area of Spanish conversation. While the Spanish
grammar is clearly explained and illustrated in
supplementary course
books.
Here's a video look Inside Rocket Spanish, see what you
get!
There are vocabulary sections to learn as you
go along, which are introduced well, in context. And regular
vocab tests to test yourself with. There are also visual
flashcards to test yourself with vocab and grammar at any time
you
like.
The course is well structured and right from
the start teaches you very practical
Spanish. It's designed to lead you through from
beginner to fluency very quickly, because the emphasis is
strongly on learning to speak real Spanish at a normal
conversational speed. The focus is on speaking and
practising the language at the same time that you're learning
the grammar and the structure behind it. Which makes everything
very easy to understand in the context of real
conversation.
The lessons are actually pretty fun, and
I like that I can move at my own pace. Also, after trying
Spanish classes that were fixed into 2 or 3 evening
sessions a week, I find it liberating that I can study
lessons whenever I feel like it. I listen to audio lessons in
the gym and on the way to work in the mornings, when my mind is
fresh and focused, and I'd normally just be listening
to music or the
radio.
